OUR METHODOLOGY
A transparent approach to website and AI visibility reviews.
AI Ask Ready combines human review, visible website information, selected technical checks and point-in-time observations from search and AI-assisted discovery experiences.
The purpose is to identify practical clarity, credibility, discoverability and conversion issues. It is not to produce an official platform score or promise a particular ranking, citation or recommendation.
Principles
What guides every review.
Visible evidence
Relevant questions
Point-in-time observations
Human interpretation
Review areas
Five areas shape the assessment.
Category 1
Business Clarity
We review whether the website clearly explains what the business does, who it serves, where it operates and why a customer should consider it.
Review considerations
- Clear business category
- Clearly named services
- Identifiable audience
- Market or location information
- Differentiation
- Consistent business descriptions
Category 2
Answer-Ready Content
We review whether important pages directly answer the questions customers, search engines and AI systems may need to understand the business.
Review considerations
- Useful service explanations
- Direct answers to common questions
- Clear headings and page sections
- Relevant supporting context
- Important facts stated visibly
- Content that can be interpreted without unsupported assumptions
Category 3
Trust and Credibility
We review whether the business identity, experience, qualifications, policies and supporting proof are clearly and consistently presented.
Review considerations
- Business and team identification
- Experience and background
- Contact consistency
- Policies and process explanations
- Reviews or examples where appropriate
- Verifiable trust information
Trust signals vary by industry. A law firm, ecommerce store and local service provider will not require identical forms of evidence.
Category 4
Technical Discoverability
We perform a visible introductory review of technical and structural elements that may affect how content is crawled, interpreted and connected.
Review considerations
- Page titles and descriptions
- Heading structure
- Crawlable navigation
- Indexable visible content
- Internal links
- Basic structured-data signals
- Business identity consistency
- Obvious broken or conflicting information
This review area is not a substitute for a complete technical SEO crawl, accessibility audit, security assessment or software review.
Category 5
Conversion Path
We review whether a visitor can identify the appropriate next action and complete it without unnecessary friction.
Review considerations
- Clear calls to action
- Inquiry, consultation, booking or purchase path
- Form length and relevance
- Explanation of what happens next
- Contact-method clarity
- Consistency between page intent and CTA
Prompts
How review prompts are selected.
For assessments that include prompt observations, prompts are selected based on the business, services, customer questions, market and likely research intent.
Prompt groups may include
- Service discovery
- Provider comparison
- Location-based questions
- Qualification and trust questions
- Process and cost questions
- Problem-based research
- Brand-specific questions where relevant
Observations
What an AI-platform observation means.
A platform observation records what appeared for a selected prompt under the conditions reviewed.
It may include
- Whether the business was mentioned
- How the business was described
- Which sources were cited or referenced
- Whether competing providers appeared
- Whether important business information was incorrect, incomplete or absent
Free AEO Score
The Free AEO Score is a focused introductory review based primarily on visible website and business information.
It includes
- A brief homepage and business-message review
- High-level business clarity observations
- Visible discovery issues
- Three recommended priorities
- A concise written summary
It does not include
- A complete technical crawl
- A full competitor analysis

How recommendations are prioritized.
Impact
Urgency
Effort
Dependency
Recommendations may be grouped as
- Fix first
- Strengthen next
- Develop over time
Limits
Limits of the methodology.
- It does not reverse-engineer private AI models
- It does not guarantee inclusion in AI answers
- It does not replace a complete technical SEO audit
- It does not replace legal, financial, cybersecurity or compliance review
- It does not treat one prompt result as permanent
- It does not assume every missing brand mention is a website failure
- It does not publish AI-generated conclusions without human review
